I used to hate the Lakers

Now I let them control my emotions.

It’s good to know I’m not alone. This is me as well.

The Lakers are officially on a slump. Their defense has been flat out WEAK. The other players, who started out so hot, have all gone completely cold. Now teams are just throwing guys at Kobe and nobody is stepping up to make the defense pay for it.
The Lakers don’t have a day off, they play Houston tomorrow night. They need to focus on defense if they want to avoid losing four in a row.

Fuck this game. I don’t make excuses, if the Lakers lose then they should’ve played better. Having said that, the officiating in this game is ridiculous.
They’re only down five with 5 minutes left so maybe they pull off the comeback.

Comcast Wants Complete Control →
I found this on Twitter and I had to post it here. It seems Comcast is taking major steps to control what its customers can do while online or watching tv via Comcast. The first one doesn’t surprise me, they are trying to push Netflix out so that Comcast customers use their service, Xfinity, instead. The second point is a little troubling, Comcast prevents customers from buying modems that...
L.A. crossing guard beaten by two people in... →
onewingedangeleno:
A man and woman are in custody for allegedly beating a 59-year female crossing guard and stealing her stop sign and whistle in front of nearly two dozen school children and adults Monday afternoon in the Florence-Firestone area.
Sheriff’s investigators said the two suspects drove up to the intersection in a black Ford Expedition at about 2 p.m. and began to turn east...

I’m pretty sure this was broken at some point last year but it shouldn’t happen often and I definitely don’t want it to happen this year; especially not to the 7-10 Grizzlies.
I wonder why you can’t reply to people’s replies in tumblr.

Lakers lose to the Pacers
So are we going to lose in sets of two all season?
I slept for one or two hours around 11 last night and that’s it. Now I’m off to the park on very little sleep.

I know this is a bit of a long list but it’s funny how many of these really apply to me.

I love the Laker hate
The Jazz arena erupted like if they had just knocked the Lakers out of the playoffs and were moving on to the finals; they even had confetti. I love how much they hate the Lakers. They hate the team, the fans, and our city; I love it.

Lakers lose to the Jazz
I said at the beginning this would be a big test. D.Williams had his way with us (much like Rose in the last game) and the Lakers were throwing up nothing but bricks.
I will admit I’m a little concerned that we’ve lost to both the Nuggets and the Jazz and that we’ve had trouble defending talented point guards.

The Lakers are playing Utah tonight. This will be a test.

Sarah Palin "We've got to stand with our North... →
I’m not interested in turning this into a political blog but this was just too funny to pass up. During an appearance on Glenn Beck’s radio show (of course) Palin was asked how she would handle the current situation in Korea. Her response was, “But obviously, we’ve go to stand with our North Korean allies.”
I know this was probably just a slip but she has proven...

Americans Welcome Work Emails During the Holidays →
This is horrible; according to this article “about twenty percent of people welcome the {work email} messages as a distraction from their functions during the holiday season.” We as a society are so involved with work that not only do we refuse to walk away from it, but we welcome the work emails during the extra days off the Holidays bring.
I have personally known individuals who...

Why Kobe Is A Champion, While Others...
Work Ethic. Most players around the NBA who have been around Kobe will say that he is the hardest-working player in the league. One player said you can see him getting better as his practice session goes on. The man simply works at being the best. He also never lacks drive and determination. After the Lakers beat the Pistons on Wednesday, Kobe was asked what got him up to play so hard against...
