Good bye 2010. It was actually a good year but I look forward to 2011 as I continue my training towards a new career. I enjoy challenges and learning new stuff. Bring it on 2011.

We had this game in the 3rd! It shouldn’t be this hard to beat the 6ers. 101-98 with 1.9 left.

OK the Lakers are winning 95-78 and will snap their losing streak. Let’s not act like everything is great now; it’s only the Hornets.
They did look good and moved the ball properly to get everyone involved. I still want to see them play better defense.
It’s actually quite sad really. Netflix is one of the best media providers out there and the film studios and networks hate them for it. I think Netflix’ days are numbered; once their current contracts run out the studios will tighten their grip and heavily limit the content. In doing so the studios hope all consumers will go back to blindly paying theater feess, buying ALL available pay-per-view movies from our satellite/cable providers, and continue piling up DVD/Blu-Ray discs.
It’s crazy how the internet has given consumers so many freedoms and the media studios are going to fight until the very end to keep control in their hands rather than those of the consumers. Their business models are outdated and will die but they rather limit our access than adapt to a new way of doing things for fear that they won’t make as much money as before.
We lost to the Bucks by 19. We lost to the Heat by 16. We just lost to the Spurs by 15.
How about we stop talking about a 3peat and focus on making the playoffs first. We’ve lost every big game so far this season.
Get it together Lakers!!!
The Lakers are looking really bad in the 3rd quarter. The Spurs are just giving them hell as soon as they cross half-court.
Kobe always says it like it is.
70-86, fuck this! I’m going to take some time to enjoy one of my XMas presents, NBA 2K11.
One quarter left and the Lakers are down by 11. They need to step up right away or it’s over.
Let’s go Lakers!!!
Let’s get one thing clear, I love the Lakers. I am however, realistic when it comes to sports. The Lakers got off to a great start but against teams that didn’t pose a threat. Ever since they lost to Denver (their first loss of the season) they have not looked as good as they did at the beginning of the season. Last night’s embarrassing loss to the Bucks shined a spotlight on their lack of effort on defense and the tendency to stand around on the offensive end.
The next two games will be tough. First the Heat on Christmas day. Miami has improved but they too have had little success against tough teams. Once the hype is gone and the game begins it will be a test simply because the Lakers will have to play defense to beat this team. Not rotating properly on picks and leaving guys open will be devastating against the Heat.
Then they have to play at San Antonio, the true test. The Spurs have the best record in the NBA and are currently on a nine game winning streak. This is the team that poses the biggest threat in the Western Conference and the Lakers have to show they can at least compete.
If the Lakers lose to Miami the media will be all over it, if the Lakers beat Miami it will simply be another regular season win for the Lakers. The real game is next Wednesday at San Antonio. A victory there will show that the Lakers do have the weapons needed to win, they just haven’t been using them.
We lost by 19 points to the Bucks at home!!!! This is not how I wanted us to go into the Miami game.
And Kobe picked up two T’s for talking shit to the refs and got kicked out.
This was a horrible game, no defense (again) and no hunger.
Yesterday was a true lazy Sunday. I watched the Laker game and stayed in all day. My phone was off all day and night. I turned it off to charge on Saturday night and turned it back on this morning before work. Good times.
I had been waiting for this sequel since I first fell in love with the idea of living inside a computer program. Great movie that actually used 3D technology as more than a gimmick. My only complaint was that I wanted more time in the game.
