The Lakers took off to a 20-6 start and are now trailing by 6 after 3 quarters. And I’m not the least bit surprised.

The majority of Cal State’s 23 campuses won’t be accepting any new students under the plan. But eight campuses — Channel Islands, Chico, East Bay, Fullerton, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Bernardino and...

The Lakers finally played like they’re supposed to play. They dominated the boards and took care of the basketball. Offensively they controlled the tempo and the offense itself was controlled by point guard Ramon Sessions. Kobe finished with 30 points, Gasol had 27, and Sessions added 17 points and 9 assists. Wow. All-American Hardware in Downey has been completely erased. The only thing that remains today is the old signage structure at what used to be the parking lot entrance. Driving by that place always reminded me of my brother and now it’s gone—like him.
