Clippers?
I still can’t believe the Grizzlies allowed this to happen. The Clippers spent the first three quarters in awe of the playoff atmosphere and the Grizz simply got careless and cocky. We’ll see if the Clips ride this high or if the Grizzlies can put it behind them and play a full 48 minutes the rest of the way.
The more I play D, the better we’ll be.

I was waiting for the day he’d realize this.
In our later years we must all face the errors we made when we were young. We never really think how our errors affect those we love until we reach those later years.

Derrick Rose Out For Playoffs
It was tough to see the injury take place but even tougher to hear what the actual injury is. This is the last in the line of injuries that kept Rose on the bench this season, and this one will sideline him for the rest of the post-season. I hope he can come back in time for the new season, stronger than ever.

Knicks v Heat, Game 1
How is that a flagrant foul? Doesn’t Lebron lay guys out like that every week? I definitely see that it was a foul because he threw his chest at him. That’s a moving screen, not a flagrant foul.
For what it’s worth: it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope...

Does anybody know any good places to eat in Pensacola, Florida? I’ll only be there two nights but I don’t really know anything about that place.

OKC vs Lakers
Let me be the first to say I was wrong. Jordan Hill earned his way into the 12-man playoff roster today. That was an amazing win. And one we needed before the playoffs.
I do wonder what will come of coach Brown’s decision to sit Bynum and Sessions. I think it was the right decision but I’m not sure how the affected players will take it.

OKC vs Lakers
That was one Hell of a half. I was upset about Jordan Hill getting put into the game but he shut me up quickly; he stepped up to that opportunity. On the other hand we have Artest, yes, Artest. That elbow was simply stupid. That was embarrassing for him, for the team, even for the sport.
I hope we play close to a perfect second half and pull this game off. The Thunder will come out of the...

OKC vs Lakers
Wow, Artest. How could you do that to us?! That dunk could have been the boost we needed and you throw an elbow out like that? You deserve the ejection and you deserve the suspension you will get.

OKC vs Lakers
Jordan Hill? What the Hell? Why is coach Brown still shuffling the lineup the last week of the regular season? Why is Ebanks a bench warmer again when he played so well while Kobe was hurt? Shouldn’t he be in the second unit?

Marian Hossa Knocked Out by Questionable Hit →
Questionable is an understatement. Raffi Torres jumped off the ice and launched himself right at Hossa’s head, knocking him out of the game and perhaps more. Admittedly, I don’t make time to truly follow Hockey but I have found myself watching some playoff games and the clinching Stanley Cup Finals game over the last two years with workmates. I have a hard time believing that anybody...

Zuckerberg Negotiated Instagram Deal Alone →
This doesn’t really surprise me but it is impressive that the billion dollar negotiation took place exclusively between two guys who are not even 30 yet. It may be harder and harder to accomplish but every once in a while we are shown that success can still be achieved if you have an idea and the knowledge and drive to make it reality.

Not everything in my life is as I would like it to be. I can take solace in the fact that my full-time job now gives me plenty of opportunities to write. Maybe this is the beginning of some day making the transition to a full-time writer—maybe. In the meantime I’ll continue to write here and at work as much as possible.

Eight seasons of NO RESERVATIONS. Who would have guessed? I sure as Hell wouldn’t have. How long could we get away with it? Not very long was the prevailing wisdom. And yet here we are. Nearly 700,000 air miles later, about two thirds of the way through shooting—and it’s looking pretty…

Nets (87), Lakers (91)
What a shot! Gotta take the win but these blown leads are frustrating. The Lakers blew this game. They got the “W” but I’m not sure it really feels like a victory.

Nets vs Lakers
The Lakers again decided to only play 3 quarters but I stand by my Bynum comment from earlier.
With regards to this 4th quarter, the Lakers deserve the loss for not playing 48 minutes of basketball.
